Lions sign former Jaguars tight end Matt Veldman
According to the team’s website, the Detroit Lions have signed former Jaguars tight end Matt Veldman.
Veldman signed with the Jaguars following the 2012 NFL Draft as a rookie free agent.
In 2012, Veldman was on Jacksonville’s injured reserve list after a preseason ACL injury.
He was released last week to make room for quarterback Mike Kafka.
