Boston Celtics Make Roster Move Before Bulls Game

On Thursday evening, the Boston Celtics  will be in Illinois to face off against the Chicago Bulls at the Untied Center. 

Before the game, the team announced that they had made a roster move by assigning Jordan Walsh to the Maine Celtics (G League). 

Via The Boston Celtics: "We have assigned Jordan Walsh to the @MaineCeltics"

Walsh was the 38th pick in the 2023 NBA draft out of Arkansas and has appeared in four games for the Celtics this season. 

He is averaging 2.8 rebounds per contest.  

Walsh has spent a significant amount of time in the G League and is averaging 15.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.9% from the field and 35.8% from the three-point range in 15 regular season games. 

He's also appeared in 16 Showcase Cup games. 

The Maine Celtics will play their next game on Thursday. 

As for the Celtics, they are the best team in the NBA and the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 43-12 record in 55 games. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and went into the All-Star break in the middle of a six-game winning streak. 

Following the Bulls, the Celtics will visit the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Saturday evening. 

As for the Bulls, they are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 26-29 record in 55 games. 

Following the Celtics, they will visit Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday evening.
