The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will take place Feb. 1-4 with a flag football game bringing it all to a close on Sunday. Former quarterbacks and brothers Peyton and Eli Manning will coach the AFC and NFC teams for the second year in a row.
However, Eli Manning didn't want to coach the Pro Bowl, which has been highly criticized for the players not taking it seriously. But not exactly for those reasons.
"This weekend we've got the Pro Bowl. Peyton [Manning] begged me and begged me and begged me to coach. I'm like, 'No, I'm undefeated. I like to have the 1-0 undefeated record,'" Manning said on "The Pat McAfee Show." "But he wouldn't stop calling me and texting me ... so I finally had to do it."
"I tried to walk away from the Pro Bowl as an undefeated coach but Peyton wouldn't stop sending me voice memos..

Eli Manning's NFC squad defeated Peyton Manning's AFC squad 66-57 a year ago. Peyton Manning has aspirations of getting his revenge this time around.
However, that may be difficult against his younger brother, who has even more reason than just the sibling rivalry to defeat him again.
Eli Manning revealed Peyton Manning has been leaving him 18-minute-long voice memos in preparation for their matchup. It's safe to say Eli Manning is over it.
"I wish they were three and a half minutes," Manning added. "When I look at one and see 18 minutes, I usually text back and say, "Hey, send me a CliffsNotes of the voice memo that you just left me in another voice memo that's shorter. I don't have 18 minutes to sit here and listen to you talk.'"
The two brothers faced each other just three times during their playing careers. Peyton Manning was victorious in all the games.
But Eli Manning will now try to improve his coaching record against his older brother to 2-0.
